The vinegar loosens all fat. Wipe the microwave with a clean cloth. ------------------------------------

If you have cut yourself, and this cut is deep and does not want to stop, pour a heap of pepper on the cut, it does not burn, and the bleeding will stop immediately. ---------------------------

Alcohol-based mouthwash was first developed as an
antiseptic for surgery, so next time you get a small cut,
dab the area with a mouthwash soaked cotton ball! ---------------------------------------------

Whenever you repair something or take it apart, tape the
nuts, bolts or screws to the object so that you won't
misplace any tiny pieces. ---------------------------------

The most important item below is the last one, about the clothes dryer! It could save your your home from a fire, and maybe your life! DID YOU KNOW? ------------------------------

Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have to pick the little "stringy things" off of it.. That's how the primates do it. I tried this and it works---------------------------------

Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster. ---------------------------------------

Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much longer and not mold! ------------------------------------------

Peppers with 3 bumps on the bottom are sweeter and better for eating. Peppers with 4 bumps on the bottom are firmer and better for cooking. ----------------------------------

Add a teaspoon of water when frying ground beef. It will help pull the grease away from the meat while cooking. -------------------------------------

To really make scrambled eggs or omelets rich add a couple of spoonfuls of sour cream, cream cheese, or heavy cream in and then beat them up. ------------------------------

For a cool brownie treat, make brownies as directed. Melt Andes mints in double broiler and pour over warm brownies. Let set for a wonderful minty frosting. ------------------

Add garlic immediately to a recipe if you want a light taste of garlic and at the end of the recipe if your want a stronger taste of garlic. ---------------------------------------------

Leftover snickers bars from Halloween make a delicious dessert. Simple chop them up with the food chopper. Peel, core and slice a few apples. Place them in a baking dish and sprinkle the chopped candy bars over the apples. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes!!! Serve alone or with vanilla ice cream. Yum -----------------------------------------------

1. Reheat PizzaHeat up leftover pizza in a nonstick skillet on top of the stove, set heat to med-low and heat till warm. This keeps the crust crispy. No soggy micro pizza. I saw this on the cooking channel and it really works.-------------------------------------------------

2. Easy Deviled EggsPut cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.----------------

3. Expanding FrostingWhen you buy a container of cake frosting from the st ore, whip it with your mixer for a few minutes. You can double it in size. You get to frost more cake/cupcakes with the same amount. You also eat less sugar and calories per serving.-------------------------

4. Reheating refrigerated breadTo warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.-------------------------------------------------

5. Newspaper weeds away Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers, put layers around the plants overlapping as you go cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.---------------------------------------------------

6. Broken GlassUse a wet cotton ball or Q-tip to pick up the small shards of glass you can't see easily.---------------------------------------------------

7. No More MosquitoesPlace a dryer sheet in your pocket. It will keep the mosquitoes away.-------------------

8. Squirrel Away!To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.--------

9. Flexible vacuum To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.---------------------------------------------------

10. Reducing Static ClingPin a small safety pin to the seam of your slip and you will not have a clingy skirt or dress. Same thing works with slacks that cling when wearing panty hose. Place pin in seam of slacks and -- ta da! -- static is gone. ------------------------------------

11. Measuring Cups Before you pour sticky substances into a measuring cup, fill with hot water. Dump out the hot water, but don't dry cup. Next, add your ingredient, such as peanut butter, and watch how easily it comes right out.-----------------------------------------------

12. Foggy Windshield?Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car . Reopening envelopeIf you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two.
Viola! It unseals easily.----------------------------------------

14. ConditionerUse your hair conditioner to shave your legs. It's cheaper than shaving cream and leaves your legs really smooth. It's also a great way to use up the conditioner you bought but didn't like when you tried it in your hair...---------------------------------------

15. Goodbye Fruit FliesTo get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dish washing liquid, mix well. It may take a week or so, especially if it rains, but it works & you don't have the worry about pets or small children being harmed!--------------------------------

17. INFO ABOUT CLOTHES DRYERS The heating unit went out on my dryer! The gentleman that fixes things around the house for us told us that he wanted to show us something and he went over to the dryer and pulled out the lint filter. It was clean. (I always clean the lint from the filter after every load clothes.) He told us that he wanted to show us something; he took the filter over to the sink, ran hot water over it. The lint filter is made of a mesh material - I'm sure you know what your dryer's lint filter looks like.Well,...the hot water just sat on top of the mesh! It didn't go through it at all! He told us that dryer sheets cause a film over that mesh that's what burns out the heating unit. You can't SEE the film, but it's there. It's what is in the dryer sheets to make your clothes soft and static free -- that nice fragrance too, you know how they can feel waxy when you take them out of the box, well this stuff builds up on your clothes and on your lint screen. This is also what causes dryer units to catch fire & potentially burn your house down with it! He said the bestway to keep your dryer working for a very long time (& to keep your electric bill lower) is to take that filter out & wash it with hot soapy water & an old toothbrush (or other brush) at least every six months. He said that makes the life of the dryer at least twice as long! How about that!?! Learn something new everyday! I certainly didn't know dryer sheets would do that. So, I thought I'd share! Note: I went to my dryer & tested my screen by running water on it. Thewater ran through a little bit but mostly collected all the water in the mesh screen. I washed it with warm soapy water & a nylon brush & I had it done in 30 seconds. Then when I rinsed it -- the water ran right thru the screen! There wasn't any pudding at all! That repairman knew what he was talking about
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------
I have done the sock and rice as a heating pad thing as well, tell your readers to add dried lavender or rosemary and mixthem up with the rice. It’s so soothing when they are heated up. Lavender especially!
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints #1
Share your popcorn when you’re at the movies instead ofbuying multiple cartons or bags. You’ll save money andpackaging. Americans today consume seventeen billion quartsof popcorn each year (54 quarts per person), 30 percent ofwhich are eaten at movie theaters.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints #2
For a quick and luscious icing, place a layer of chocolatemint patties over a freshly baked cake while it is stillhot and leave until the mints soften. Spread with a spatula. For a variation, try flavors such as orange or rum patties
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------
Kathie shares a tip with all of us…..I’ve found something better than salt for cleaning burnt on foods…even works on Corning Ware. Put a scoop of powdered dish washer soap in the container, fill with HOT HOT waterand let set overnight. Most burned on residue will floatoff in the morning and requires minimal scrubbing.
Hints Holly
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Save Money Behind The Wheel Carpooling limits the amount of time you spend behind the wheel which reduces stress and saves you time. Secondly, carpooling cuts down on the wear and tear on your car, the amount of gas you use every week, not to mention reducing the pollutants in the air by having less cars on the road. You can carpool to and from work, kids´ activities, etc.
{:-)
---------------------------------------------------------

Hints
Pack as little in your car as necessary so it has less weightto carry. If your car has less weight to carry, it usesless gas, therefore saving you money.
{:-)
---------------------------------------------------------

HINTS
Some insurance companies will give you a package deal ifyou purchase more than one type of insurance with them. Therefore, if you buy auto insurance and home insurance, you could get a discount for having two policies with thesame insurance agency. Doesn´t hurt to ask.
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Prevent fresh fruit from getting crushed in your grocery bags. Simply blow air into the plastic bag containing thefruit and tie it so that the air cannot escape. When thefruit is packed in the paper bag, the air in the bag actsas a cushion for the fruit on its ride home.
{:-)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
If you have trouble closing seals on tupperware, run themunder hot water for approximately 20 seconds and snap close!
{:-)
----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Many chains, like Starbucks, will give you 10 cents off whenyou skip their throw-away cups (which clogs landfills) andbring your own mug!
{:-)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Don’t panic if your soup’s too salty: Add cut raw potatoes and throw them away once they are cooked and have absorbed the salt. Your soup’s saved!
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
After drying sheets, put both sheets and one pillowcase inthe other pillow case. Fold neatly in a square. Next time you change sheets, you just take the one pillow case and all the sheets and pillow case are inside. No need to look for matches.
{:-)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Applying mud to a bee sting will take away the sting, as well as the stinger.
{:-)
----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that wererefrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup ofwater. The increased moisture will keep the food moist andhelp it reheat faster.
{:-)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
To keep cat litter fresh smelling, mix baby powder in withthe litter.
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Many nurseries give unsold healthy trees and shrubs away
for free at the end of all seasons. Check your local nursery.
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Using a dishwasher actually uses about 35% less water than
washing dishes by hand. And, if you skip the drying cycle
and let the dishes air dry you’ll use about 15% less
electricity. But, always make sure that the dishwasher has
a full load before running it. Although a dishwasher saves
on water, running several half loads per day will end up
wasting more than it saves.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Ladies this ones for you...No more mascara clumps! Give your
wand a glance before sweeping on your mascara: if it looks
cakey, apply a little Vaseline over the bristles, then wipe
with a paper towel--the excess mascara will glide right off,
giving you a clean want -- and great looking lashes!
------------------------------------------------------------
Hint
Thinking about buying a new car? Four-door cars generally
have lower insurance rates than two-door cars. Check the
insurance rate on your prospective car before buying.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Athlete's Foot: Sprinkle cornstarch on your feet and in your shoes.
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
When you've finished a bottle of ketchup, make use of the
residue: add a little water or vinegar and shake, then use
the liquid to flavour soups, stews or salad dressings.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Unclog sinks by....
Pour 1 cup baking soda down the drain, followed by 3 cups
boiling water. Repeat a few times. Still clogged? Follow up
the baking soda with 1 cup white vinegar. Then cover the
drain so the mixture doesn't bubble out. Leave overnight.
In the morning, flush with 2 cups of boiling water.
{:-) ------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Keep rubber bands in the fridge....they'll last longer.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Remove furniture dents by running a key or coin over the
indentation. The carpet will fluff up again!
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Crush dry, used tea leaves, sprinkle on carpet and let is
sit for 10 minutes or so to absorb odors then vacuum up the
leaves. Your carpets will be odor-free.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Handy Hints #1
No-rinse shower sprays really work as long as you use them
regularly; and since they prevent buildup, you never have
to scrub!
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Flush your toilet bowl rings. Put 1/4 cup of white vinegar
in a spray bottle and fill with water. Spray under the rim
once a day and flush--and you'll go twice as long before
you need to don those rubber gloves and scrub!
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Out of glass cleaner? A strong, alcohol-based mouthwash
will work as well as, or better than, glass cleaner on your
computer monitor or TV screen. Apply with a damp, soft cloth
and buff dry. Remember to use only on glass screens, not
liquid crystal displays! The alcohol can damage the material
used in LCDs.
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
After you shave your legs, they may feel rough and irritated.
Rub on hair conditioner; it acts like a lotion and can
soothe the hurt away.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------
Hints
You could donate the shredded paper to your local vet's
office. When cats and kittens get declawed they cannot use
cat litter in their boxes for at least a week as it is
very harsh on their sensitive paws. The vet's suggest
shredded paper as it is softer on their sore paws and it
is easy to dispose of.
-- Use it as kindling for your fireplace
-- Packing material for my household glass and knic-knacs.

-- Take some of you shredded paper, as long as there is no
plastic in it, and use it as mulch in your garden. After
applying, be sure to wet it down and cover it with a
little dirt so it won't blow into you neighbors yard.
Also, shredded newspaper is good for mixing with the soil.
It will help the worms burrow and they will also eat the
shredded newspaper giving your yard a little softness to
it. In my area, the soil was a very thick clay like
substance and I started doing this to my yard and my grass
is greener and a lot spongier than my neighbors.
-- You can uses shredded paper in place of easter grass. If
you really want the colored cellophane grass, use some
shredded paper underneath and the expensive grass on top.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------

Hints
If one of your birthday wishes is to keep candle wax off
the frosting on the cake, try this trick: Push each candle
into a marshmallow and set the marshmallow atop the frosting.
The wax will melt onto the marshmallow, which you can
discard. Meanwhile, the marshmallows will add a festive
look to the cake.
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
An annoying, buzzing housefly has been bobbing and weaving
around your house for two days. Make it bite the dust with
a squirt of hair spray. Take aim and fire. Watch the fly
drop. But make sure the hair spray is water-soluble so that,
if any spray hits the walls, you'll be able to wipe it
clean. Works on wasps and bees too.
{:-)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hints:
Replacing your car's air filter can improve gas mileage
by 10 percent.
{:-)
------------------------------------------------------------
Hints
Wrapping rubber bands around the ends of hangers can
prevent clothes from slipping off.
{:-)
-----------------------------------------------------------

My Father - (A beautiful story to share)

'Watch out! You nearly broad sided that car!' My father yelled at me. 'Can't you do anything right?' Those words hurt worse than blows. I turned my head toward the elderly man in the seat beside me, daring me to challenge him. A lump rose in my throat as I averted my eyes. I wasn't prepared for another battle. 'I saw the car, Dad. Please don't yell at me when I'm driving.' My voice was measured and steady, sounding far calmer than I really felt. Dad glared at me, then turned away and settled back.

At home I left Dad in front of the television and went outside to collect my thoughts. Dark, heavy clouds hung in the air with a promise of rain. The rumble of distant thunder seemed to echo my inner turmoil. What could I do about him? Dad had been a lumberjack in Washington and Oregon. He had enjoyed being outdoors and had reveled in pitting his strength against the forces of nature. He had entered grueling lumberjack competitions, and had placed often.

The shelves in his house were filled with trophies that attested to his prowess. The years marched on relentlessly.. The first time he couldn't lift a heavy log, he joked about it; but later that same day I saw him outside alone, straining to lift it. He became irritable whenever anyone teased him about his advancing age, or when he couldn't do something he had done as a younger man.

Four days after his sixty-seventh birthday, he had a heart attack. An ambulance sped him to the hospital while a paramedic administered CPR to keep blood and oxygen flowing. At the hospital, Dad was rushed into an operating room. He was lucky; he survived. But something inside Dad died. His zest for life was gone.. He obstinately refused to follow doctor's orders. Suggestions and offers of help were turned aside with sarcasm and insults. The number of visitors thinned, then finally stopped altogether. Dad was left alone.

My husband, Dick, and I asked Dad to come live with us on our small farm. We hoped the fresh air and rustic atmosphere would help him adjust. Within a week after he moved in, I regretted the invitation. It seemed nothing was satisfactory. He criticized everything I did. I became frustrated and moody. Soon I was taking my pent-up anger out on Dick. We began to bicker and argue. Alarmed, Dick sought out our pastor and explained the situation. The clergyman set up weekly counseling appointments for us. At the close of each session he prayed, asking God to soothe Dad's troubled mind.. But the months wore on and God was silent. Something had to be done and it was up to me to do it.

The next day I sat down with the phone book and methodically called each of the mental health clinics listed in the Yellow Pages. I explained my problem to each of the sympathetic voices that answered. In vain. Just when I was giving up hope, one of the voices suddenly exclaimed, 'I just read something that might help you! Let me go get the article.' I listened as she read. The article described a remarkable study done at a nursing home. All of the patients were under treatment for chronic depression. Yet their attitudes had improved dramatically when they were given responsibility for a dog. I drove to the animal shelter that afternoon. After I filled out a questionnaire, a uniformed officer led me to the kennels. The odor of disinfectant stung my nostrils as I moved down the row of pens. Each contained five to seven dogs. Long-haired dogs, curly-haired dogs, black dogs, spotted dogs all jumped up, trying to reach me. I studied each one but rejected one after the other for various reasons, too big, too small, too much hair. As I neared the last pen a dog in the shadows of the far corner struggled to his feet, walked to the front of the run and sat down. It was a pointer, one of the dog world's aristocrats. But this was a caricature of the breed. Years had etched his face and muzzle with shades of gray. His hipbones jutted out in lopsided triangles. But it was his eyes that caught and held my attention. Calm and clear, they beheld me unwaveringly. I pointed to the dog. 'Can you tell me about him?' The officer looked, then shook his head in puzzlement.'He's a funny one. Appeared out of nowhere and sat in front of the gate. We brought him in, figuring someone would be right down to claim him, that was two weeks ago and we've heard nothing. His time is up tomorrow.' He gestured helplessly. As the words sank in I turned to the man in horror. 'You mean you're going to kill him?''Ma'am,' he said gently, 'that's our policy. We don't have room for every unclaimed dog.' I looked at the pointer again. The calm brown eyes awaited my decision. 'I'll take him,' I said.

I drove home with the dog on the front seat beside me. When I reached the house I honked the horn twice. I was helping my prize out of the car when Dad shuffled onto the front porch. 'Ta-da! Look what I got for you, Dad!' I said excitedly.Dad looked, then wrinkled his face in disgust. 'If I had wanted a dog I would have gotten one. And I would have picked out a better specimen than that bag of bones. Keep it! I don't want it' Dad waved his arm scornfully and turned back toward the house. Anger rose inside me.. It squeezed together my throat muscles and pounded into my temples.'You'd better get used to him, Dad. He's staying!' Dad ignored me. 'Did you hear me, Dad?' I screamed. At those words Dad whirled angrily, his hands clenched at his sides, his eyes narrowed and blazing with hate. We stood glaring at each other like duelists, when suddenly the pointer pulled free from my grasp. He wobbled toward my dad and sat down in front of him. Then slowly, carefully, he raised his paw. Dad's lower jaw trembled as he stared at the uplifted paw. Confusion replaced the anger in his eyes. The pointer waited patiently.

Then Dad was on his knees hugging the animal. It was the beginning of a warm and intimate friendship. Dad named the pointer Cheyenne. Together he and Cheyenne explored the community. They spent long hours walking down dusty lanes. They spent reflective moments on the banks of streams, angling for tasty trout. They even started to attend Sunday services together, Dad sitting in a pew and Cheyenne lying quietly at his feet.Dad and Cheyenne were inseparable throughout the next three years. Dad's bitterness faded, and he and Cheyenne made many friends.

Then late one night I was startled to feel Cheyenne's cold nose burrowing through our bed covers. He had never before come into our bedroom at night. I woke Dick, put on my robe and ran into my father's room. Dad lay in his bed, his face serene. But his spirit had left quietly sometime during the night. Two days later my shock and grief deepened when I discovered Cheyenne lying dead beside Dad's bed. I wrapped his still form in the rag rug he had slept on. As Dick and I buried him near a favorite fishing hole, I silently thanked the dog for the help he had given me in restoring Dad's peace of mind.

The morning of Dad's funeral dawned overcast and dreary.. This day looks like the way I feel, I thought, as I walked down the aisle to the pews reserved for family. I was surprised to see the many friends Dad and Cheyenne had made filling the church. The pastor began his eulogy. It was a tribute to both Dad and the dog who had changed his life. And then the pastor turned to Hebrews 13:2. 'Be not forgetful to entertain strangers.' 'I've often thanked God for sending that angel,' he said. For me, the past dropped into place, completing a puzzle that I had not seen before: the sympathetic voice that had just read the right article. Cheyenne's unexpected appearance at the animal shelter. . his calm acceptance and complete devotion to my father. . and the proximity of their deaths. And suddenly I understood. I knew that God had answered my prayers after all.

Life is too short for drama & petty things, so laugh hard, love truly and forgive quickly..Live While You Are Alive.Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time. Share this with someone who you care for. Lost time can never be found.

THE PREAMBLES OF EACH OF OUR 50 UNITED STATES

Alabama 1901, Preamble We the people of the State of Alabama , invoking the favor and guidance of Almighty God, do ordain and establish the following Constitution..

Alaska 1956, Preamble We, the people of Alaska , grateful to God and to those who founded our nation and pioneered this great land.

Arizona 1911, Preamble We, the people of the State of Arizona , grateful to Almighty God for our liberties, do ordain this Constitution...

Arkansas 1874, Preamble We, the people of the State of Arkansas , grateful to Almighty God for the privilege of choosing our own form of government...

California 1879, Preamble We, the People of the State of California , grateful to Almighty God for our freedom...

Colorado 1876, Preamble We, the people of Colorado , with profound reverence for the Supreme Ruler of Universe....

Connecticut 1818, Preamble. So I would like to pass thison to others.Broken Arrow, Oklahoma School officials remove "God Bless America" signs from schools in fear that someonemight be offended.

Channel 12 News in Long Island, New York, orders flags removed from the newsroom and red, white, and blue ribbons removed from the lapels of reporters. Why? Management did not want to appear biased and felt that our nations flagmight give the appearance that "they lean one way or another".

Berkeley, California bans U.S. Flags from being displayed on city fire trucks because they didn't want to offend anyone in the community.

In an "act of tolerance" the head of the public library at Florida Gulf Coast University ordered all "Proud to be an American" signs removed so as to not offend international students.

I, for one, am quite disturbed by these actions of so-called American citizens; and I am tired of this nation worrying about whether or not we are offending some individual or their culture.

Since the terrorist attacks on September 11,we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled in New York and Washington D.C. when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Infact, our country's population is almost entirely comprised of descendants of immigrants; however, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some native Americans, need to understand.

First of all, it is not our responsibility to continually try not to offend you in any way. This idea of America being amulti-cultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity.. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language, and our own lifestyle. This culture, called the "American Way" has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

Our forefathers fought, bled, and died at places such as BunkerHill, Antietam, San Juan, Iwo Jima, Normandy, Korea, Vietnam, We speak English, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society - learn our language! "In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some off-the-wall, Christian, Right Wing, political slogan - itis our national motto. It is engraved in stone in the House of Representatives in our Capitol and it is printed on ourcurrency. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation; and this is clearly documented throughout our history. If it is appropriate for our motto to be inscribed in the halls of our highest level of Government, then it is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools.God is in our pledge, our National Anthem, nearly every patriotic song, and in our founding documents. We honor His birth, death, and resurrection as holidays, and we turn to Him in prayer in times of crisis. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your newhome, because God is part of our culture and we are proud to have Him.

We are proud of our heritage and those who have so honorably defended our freedoms. We celebrate Independence Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Flag Day. We have parades, picnics, and barbecues where we proudly wave our flag. As an American, I have the right to wave my flag, sing my national anthem, quote my national motto, and cite my pledge when ever and wherever I choose. If the Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. The American culture is our way of life, our heritage, and weare proud of it. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. We are Americans, like it or not, this is our country, our land, and our lifestyle.

Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion about our government, culture, or society, and we will allow you every opportunity to do so. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom, the right to leave.
(Author Unknown)
I agree, pass this onto other Americans!! The fighting had been intense, and in the smoke and the crossfire he had lost touch with his comrades.
Alone in the jungle, he could hear enemy soldiers coming in his direction. Scrambling for cover, he found his way up a high ridge to several small caves in the rock. Quickly he crawled inside one of the caves. Although safe for the moment, he realized that once the enemy soldiers looking for him swept up the ridge, they would quickly search all the caves and he would be killed.
As he waited, he prayed, "Lord, if it be your will, please protect me. Whatever your will though, I love you and trust you. Amen."
After praying, he lay quietly listening to the enemy begin to draw close. He thought, "Well, I guess the Lord isn't going to help me out of this one." Then he saw a spider begin to build a web over the front of his cave.
As he watched, listening to the enemy searching for him all the while, the spider layered strand after strand of web across the opening of the cave.
"Hah, he thought. "What I need is a brick wall and what the Lord has sent me is a spider web. God does have a sense of humor."
As the enemy drew closer he watched from the darkness of his hideout and could see them searching one cave after another. As they came to his, he got ready to make his last stand. To his amazement, however, after glancing in the direction of his cave, they moved on. Suddenly, he realized that with the spider web over the entrance, his cave looked as if no one had entered for quite a while.
"Lord, forgive me," prayed the young man. "I had forgotten that in you a spider's web is stronger than a brick wall."
We all face times of great trouble. When we do, it is so easy to forget what God can work in our lives, sometimes in the most surprising ways. And remember with God, a mere spider's web becomes a brick wall of protection.

CLOROX VERSUS PEROXIDE

Clorox vs peroxide VERY interesting and inexpensive.
This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a doctor's
Wife), and I want to share it with you. She was over
recently for coffee and smelled the bleach I was using
to clean my toilet and counter tops. This is what she
told me. 'I would like to tell you of the benefits of
that Plain little ole bottle of 3% peroxide you can get
for under $1.00 at any drug store. What does bleach cost?

My husband has been in the medical field for over 36
years, And most doctors don't tell you about peroxide.
Have you Ever smelled bleach in a doctor's office? NO!!!

Why? because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the
nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask them if
they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!

Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40's?
It's chlorine, folks! And it was used to kill our Troops.
Peroxide was invented during WWI in the 20's. It was used
to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and
hospitals.

Please think about this:

1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with
the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily,
then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe.) No more canker
sores, and your teeth will be whiter without expensive
pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash.

2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to
keep them free of germs.

3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to
kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on
your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.

4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide
on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.

5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50
mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes)
every night and let dry.

6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten
minutes several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene
that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by
soaking in peroxide.

7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and
Water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without
Harming your septic system like bleach or most other
Disinfectants will.

8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your
50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus.
It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few
minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue.

9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist
right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and
hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen
greatly.

10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray
the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it
through. You will not have the peroxide-burnt blonde hair like
the hair dye packages but more natural highlights if your hair is
a light brown, reddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually,
so it's not a drastic change.

11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help get rid of
boils, fungus, or other skin infections.

12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load
of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on
clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute,
then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing,
which is why I love it so much for this.

I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be
without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a
way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner! '
This information really woke me up. I hope you gain something
from it, too.

Pass it on! Clorox vs peroxide VERY interesting and inexpensive.

THE JOB - URINE TEST- URINE or Your Out

(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!)

Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work,
they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government
distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get
that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a
random urine test (with which I have no problem). What
I do have a problem with is the distribution of my
taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to
pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I
have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping
people get back on their feet. I do, on the other
hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting
on their butt - doing drugs, while I work. . . Can
you imagine how much money each state would save if
people had to pass a urine test to get a public
assistance check?

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or
You're Out'.

Pass this along if you agree or simply delete
if you don't. Keep skid chains on your tongue; always say less than you
think.
Cultivate a low, persuasive voice. How you say it counts
more than what you say.

2. Make promises sparingly, and keep them faithfully, no
matter what it costs.

3. Never let an opportunity pass to say a kind and
encouraging word to or about somebody. Praise good work,
regardless of who did it. If criticism is needed, criticize
helpfully, never spitefully.

4. Be interested in others, their pursuits, their work, their
homes and families. Make merry with those who rejoice; with
those who weep, mourn. Let everyone you meet, however humble,
feel that you regard him as a person of importance.

5. Be cheerful. Don't burden or depress those around you by
dwelling on your minor aches and pains and small disappointments.
Remember, everyone is carrying some kind of load.

6. Keep an open mind. Discuss but don't argue. It is a mark of a
superior mind to be able to disagree without being disagreeable.

7. Let your virtues speak for themselves. Refuse to talk of
another's vices. Discourage gossip. It is a waste of valuable
time and can be extremely destructive.

8. Be careful of another's feelings. Wit and humor at the
other person's expense are rarely worth it and may hurt when
least expected.

9. Pay no attention to ill-natured remarks about you.
Remember, the person who carried the message may not be the
most accurate reporter in the world. Simply live so that
nobody will believe them. Disordered nerves and bad
digestion are a common cause of backbiting.

10. Don't be too anxious about the credit due you. Do your
best, and be patient. Forget about yourself, and let others
"remember." Success is much sweeter that way.
--Ann Landers

5 Things You Never Knew Your Cell Phone Could Do

For all the folks with cell phones. (This should be printed and kept in your car, purse, and wallet. Good information to have with you.)

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies.

Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival.

Check out the things that you can do with it:

FIRST
Emergency

The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find
Yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an
Emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to
Establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly, this number 112
can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.< BR>

SECOND
Have you locked your keys in the car?

Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone:

If you lock your keys In the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

Editor's Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked
Our car over a cell phone!'

THIRD
Hidden Battery Power

Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#. Your cell phone will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell phone next time.
FOURTH
How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following Digits on your phone: *#06#. A 15-digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe.

When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

And Finally....

FIFTH
Free Directory Service for Cells

Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem. When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: (800)FREE411, or (800) 373-3411 w without incurring any charge at all. Program this into your cell phone now. This is sponsored by MacDonald's.

This is the kind of information people don't mind receiving, so Pass it on to your family and friends.

YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT *77 ON YOU CEL-PHONE

I knew about the red light on cars, but not the *77

It was about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on.Lauren'sparents have always told he r never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her parents'advice, and promptly called *77on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren't, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.

Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for ot her crimes.

I never knew about the *77 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently, police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe&quiet place. You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them (i.e. Put on your hazard lights) or call*77 like Lauren did.

Too bad the cell phone companies don't generally give you this little bit of wonderful information.

*When speaking to a service representative at ** Bell ** Mobility, the rep confirmed that *77 was a direct link to State trooper info..So, now it's your turn to let your friends know about *77.
Send this to every woman (and person) you know; it may save a life.
This applies to ALL 50 states.

HAVE COURAGE MY BOY TO SAY "NO"

I believe that this Poem has the wisdom and moral value and LOVE and concern of a Mother for her Children.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have Courage My Boy To Say No. You're starting today on life's journey alone on the highway of life.
